ILLEGIB This report deals with he transportation equipment industry. The

During 1952 the Lowa (Locomotive and Railroad-Car Factory), Bautzen, is to produce
2OC full-track vehicles of type K 5 with 120 horse power motor.
The Lowa,Niesky, is to produce 1,600 three-axle GO-ton flatcars, the Lowa, Goerlitz,
700 two-axle 60-ton flatcars.
The production of bevel gears constitutes the biggest bottleneck in the manufacture
of motor vehicles,
The Lowa,Goerlitz, is to produce 30 so-called disaster trains during 1952. -

plant 7 are being trained in two shifts.
The Finow Strip Mill originally was to have been delivered from Czechoslovakia. Present,
intentions are to produce it at Wildau. The believes that the strip mill which was
delivered by Czechoslovakia is now in Fuersten erg, 25X1X
