During the months of February andMarch 1952 pproximately 211 cases of pocket flashlights, valued at 136.96117 pesos, were imported by Colombia from China. The cargo was loaded in Hong Kong and unloadedat U. S. west coast and the Canal Zone parts, where it was transshipped on vessels sailing for Colombian ports. The shipper in all cases was either National Carbon (Eastern) Ltd.., or Lieberman Waelchli. The importers are varied and scattered throughout the Large cities of Colombia. 2. Although no direct shipments from Czechoslovakia to Colombia have been noted, there is evidence of consistent shipments being made from Hamburg, Germany, by` a firm known as Czechoslovak Ceramics Ex. During February f and March 192 this company shipped heavy ceramics., such as bathroom and toilet fixturs, valued at approimately 87,162 pesos.
