_______Ssactutzt Polish pit-coal imports to Czechoslovakia seem to
indicate that the low pit-coal output of the Ostrava (P50/ 0 59)
coalfields can only supar the Ostrava district steelworks, whereas
the steelworks in Bohemia must be supplied by pit-coal imported from
PoIand.

fact that Czechoslovakia is importing 4op0op tons of pit-coal from
Poland and exporting, in return 100,000 tons of brown-coal to Poland
as -payment. All this traffic in both directions is carried in Cze-
