Boiler Construction plant, formerly the Natorp and Eberhardt plant,
in Hohenthurm near Halle., were declared priority plants by a
government order and must be given preference in the supply of
materials
to the V`TB HEM in Halle. According to a letter of the Ministry of
Machine Construction, dated 17 December 1951, two VVB ERM plants.,
the Meerane Steam Boiler Construction plant, formerly L.Oschatz
, and the Hohenthurm Steam-
Ltd at 65 Zwickauerstrasse in Meerane
'c ent: The Five-Year Plan calls for the amount of electric
power generated to be increased to 33,400,000,000 kw-h. To achieve
this target it will be necessary to increase the boiler capacity,
which is now inadequate because of dismantling and because much of
the present equipment is antiquated. Thirty plants are subordinate
