Benin. Annex 1 is a copy of file note B-19-D/11 concerning the
1 tilletion of a test stand for flameproof (schlagwetter-
geschuetrat) electrical apparatus. Amex 2 is a copy of file
note B-18-G/ II conc^erni ; the surface treatment of cast-iron
products for maae-production. Annex 3 is a copy of file note
B 38-D/ZI concerning a list of electrical equipment. The
notes, which are not dated, refer to requests made by Bulgaria
to the WTZ of the Ministry of Machine Construction in Berlin.
L-j Comment. A large percentage of the designs requested by
_ae Bulgarians are those for high capacii r switches] lightning
arresters, instrument transformers, voltage transformers and
similar technical. designs. This oq pment is required for the
long-range expansion program of the Bulgarian power system.
The equipment is scheduled to be produced in Bulgaria,, but is
to be based an technical designs supplied by the voviet Zone
of German,
