This typewritten document presumably a copy of the statute governing the organization
of the DHZ (German Trade Centers), contains the following:
1. The 0HZ are people-owned wholesale enterprises. In accordance with the tasks
assigned to theme._,they are under the jurisdiction of the k J Jes?a appropriate ministries
and state secretariats,

2, The DHZ consist of central administrative units and branches, or of branches only,

and operational functions. They net up their plans in accordance with the economic plan
and operate in conformance with the principles of business-type accounting.

6. The duties of the central administrative units are described. Central administrative

and- operational letels.

chif bookkeeper and his deputy).

branches must be set up and confirmed in accordance with existing regulations.
The above regulations also apply to the People-Owned Trade Center for Scrap Materials
(VHZ Sehrott).Some special regulations applying to that organization are also described,
