DECREE COINCFRNTNG POW RS.OF THE I MIl'IIS'RY OF FORE3GN TRADE
Czechoslovakia
The Government of Czechoslovakia has decreed the following,
The Ministry of Foreign Trade shall take over the functions of the State Bank in:
A. Incoming payments from abroad.
B. Outgoing payments /abroad" and payments, in foreign exchange, to the
order of foreign nationals.
C. Foreign exchange matters connected with import and export,
D The handling of claims.
E Foreign accounts.
Fe Loans and securities.
G! Licence and patent rights, excepting copyright.
110 Granting of permission for the purchase of foreign exchange.
J. International carrier enterprises, established by law, which d:rgani'se
foreign trade.
K. Enterprises tah.i ch have been granted excem Ptions, by law /-sic
1. Enterprises deaing in the types'of merchandise not exclusively
franchised to any one enterprise.
II. The enterprises
apps:}icatiorm, proofs, and reports to the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
III, The Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Finance shall decide
on the details regarding the limitations of the powers to be excercised by
either the =~inistry of oreign Trade or by the State Bank, in accordance
with this decree.
IV. This decree becomes effective on 1 August 1952 ( excepting provisions
of paragraph II, which become effective on 1 October 1952), and shall be
implemented by the Ministers of Finance and of Foreign Trade. This decree
was signed by Gottwald, Zapotocky, Dr Gregor, and Kabes.
