This document is a typewritten report which sum ,rizes the 1953 plans for the development
of electron tubds in the GDR. The report is divided Into five main sections, as follows:
1) 1953 prospe ve plan for develop;nent projects at the ZLE (Ce-ntral Laboratory for R.ad.io-
telegraphic ft ) in Erfurt; some of the tubes listed are battery tubes for microphone
amplifiers, various types of transmitter tubes, sod velocity-modulated tubes; 2) 1953
prospective plan for development projects at the h' (HHigh-Frequency) Plant in Berlin-
Oberschoeneweide; some of the tubes listed are miniature tubed for television purposes,
double-triode tubes AT 7, and lihe-sweep tubes BL 8.1; 3) 195ta1an6 for experimental work
in conne ction with technological projects at ZLE in Er^urt; ~+) 1953 plans for experimental
work in connection with technological projects at MV; 5) general co~rments.
