Part of the materia:i. needed to fill, the dam is being dredged from the lake, A 3ocation sketch made by the design office of the Deutsche Reichsbahn indicated that the railroad line will join the line to Grossbeeren near Saarmund, cross the WiIdpark Jueterbog line west of the Lake Templin and join both the Potsdam - Brandenburg line and the Wildpark - Nauen line, New railroad stations are to be, built at the crossing noint of the 7ildpark Jueterbog line and in Golm, Lake Templin will be crossed by a dam, A bridge about 210 meters long will be construoted near the western shore of the Templin Lake, The railroad line is being constructed as a donble-track line. It was learned that the construction work was executed hy the Bau-Union Potsdam and Ingonieurtiefbau Brandenburg, 2. Construction work for the new bridge across Lake Templin of1the '.aarmund, Calm line started during the week from 14 to 20 July 1955. The Aussenring alongside the ::uhlheide shunting station is to be straightened and constructed double-4rack in 1956.2 4. It was rumored that the new passage in Sassnitz was built for a ne* ferry boat constructed in Sweden which is wider than the previous ferry and is able to carry more freight cars) 5, From 6 to 19 July 1955, the one track planned for that section of the last connecting section of the Outer Freight Ring between Wustermark - Ort and Brieselang was being transferred. It4was not known when the transfer of the track was to be completed. 6. The following information 25X1X 25X1X a. The line of the Saarmund Golm section which had already been planned in 153, was definitely denided upon; Investigations on the ground of Lake Templin made in February. 1955 produced a positive result and made it possible to start the planned construction of a dam across the lake. The dam is to have a length of 1.3 km and to be 25X1A equipped with a 2-nassage bridge in its midd2e.
