2. Among other items, source reports that during recent months the health centers in
Marianske Lazne could not obtain sedatives, vitamins, or common medications such
as oils, vaseline, and glycerine. As a result of complaints made by physicians,
the Regional Administration of Medicine in Karlovy Vary issued a circular which
listed the medicines which would be unavailable in the near future. No reason for
the lack of these medicines was given.
