Available in the CIA Library is a report of traffic on the Trans-Caspian Railroad through Dushak, Turkmen SSR,and of road traffic to and from Dushak for the period 17 April to 4 June 1955. 2. Source states the days on which he was not able to observe traffic because of inclement weather, thereby indicating the number of days of poor visibility in the area. The preceding report in this series, covered the period 13 March through 9 April 1955. No explanation has been given for the lack of observations fon 10 April through 16 April 1955. 3. At present, source is unable to obtain data on the contents of the trains. 4. Beginning in this report, a distinction is made between trains entering and leaving Dushak in both directions.
