1, Between 10 and 21 October 19559 the barracks installations
in Magdeburg were occupied as follows:

2? On 2 0! rr, the Nachrichten Kaserne in Magdeburg was occupied
to capacity. On 27 October, the Herrenkrug Kaserne also appeared
to be occupied to capacity,
3. On_ 4 sand 5 Oct,, the known AT gun unit returned to its
quert*rs in the Flak Kaserne (2002) in Brandenburg. Forty 85mmr,
AT un38 10 AP guns of 37 to 45 mm and some 100 trucks were seen
entering the instal.lation.2

5? Between I8 and 20 October, the Tauentzien Kaserne (5584) and the
Hindenburg Kaserne 5581 of the Stendal post were occupied to
capacity, while the Albrecht-der.-Baer Kaserne (5583) was 50 percent
occupied. The two emplacements south of Hindenburg Kaserne wera
occupied as previously by each 6 AA guns of 85 mm and 37 mm,.3
On 26 October. all installations of the Stendal post were hea-1? .ly
occupied. Approximately 50 soldiers who wore red-bordered blank
epaulets engaged in the construction of earth bunkers in the
training area southwest of the Hindenburg Kasernee. The completed
bunkers were apparently pcr b troo aso 3
Comment. After the completion of the fall maneuver of the
Third Shock Army, the bulk of the units is probably again
stationed at the post.,
Comment. The installation is carried occupied by the 20th

Comment. The bulk of the elements of the 207th Katz Rifle
Div from Stendal is presumably stationed at the post. The
