MOVEMENTS 2. a) 11.6.56. at 1545 hrs 10 ZIS lorries carrying wooden cases measuring approx. 2 m. x 50 cms. x 50 cros. travelling from the Autobahn towards BIRKENALLEE. b) 12.6.56. at 1400 hrs 4 lorries carrying luggage, 7 men and 1 lieutenant SAF personnel travelling from ZOSSEN ? owards the airfield. c) 22.6.56. 2 SAF captains travelling in a new HORCH car stopped at DAHLFYITZ to ask the -dray to RANGSDORF airfield. They were posted to RANGSDORF, and one of them had previously been stationed at FINOWFTJRT. 3. 19 6.56 at 1425 hrs 5 2-axled petrol lorries, driven by SAF personnel, travelling from ZOSSEN to RANGSDORF. 4. FIRING ACTIVITIES ON THE AIRFIELD a) 13.6.56. between 0900-1100, artillery firing. 1600-1830 hrs heavy machine gun firing. b) 18.6.56. between 1100-1200 hrs, artillery firing and use of Very lights. 1400-1500 hrs, heavy machine gun firing. MISCELLANEOUS 5. a) Security. RANGSDORF town is patrolled day and night by parties consisting of 2 - 4 SAF men led by either a Soviet lieutenant or captain wearing red/gold sbds. b) New Installation. At a point approx. 100 yds SW of the Western end of Point 12 are two buildings formerly used for engine testing purposes. Appendix "B" shows an installation described as an ABSAUGANLAGE that has been connected to these buildings. Ref Para 3: T ere is short-cut earth track that runs from the main Berlin,/Zossen road just north of GR. MACI 071 to RATIGSDORF. Thi 25X1 track is passable only during the summer. The petrol lorries ,were driving along this track.
