Appendix ".A" Att;Iched at Appendix "A" is an overlay, on GERMANY 1: 25,000 AMS series M 841, 3rd Edition, Sheet 404.8 sho.iin ; the railway spur, sidings and encampment of BAU UNION SUD to the NORTH of SCHONWALDE Railway Station. KEY 1. Railway spur approx. 70 m long. 2. Three sidings of-c spur. 3. Small gauge railway line leading off to the North. 4. Ramp, 5. Six wooden huts housing the offices, some accommodation, the kitchen and the recreation roomc'the BAU UNION SUD detachment. Concreting (a) The concrete is mixed on the site of the railway sidings and taken away Noithwards on the small gauge railway line. (b) Apart from the previously reported 55,000 square metres of concrete of 20 cm thickness (2 roads of 9 and 12 metres width respectively) a further 10,000 square metres of concrete of unknown thickness are to be laid down by BAU UNION SUD in the immediate airfield area. (c) At present 1,500 - 2,00:": square metres of concrete surface are being laid per day. 3. Supply of Building Material 15 - 20 wagons of building; material have continued to arrive for BAU UNION SUD at SCHOENWALDE each day. The majority of these were laden with gavel, ballast and cement. 4.
