1. About two years ago (1951) we sent to the US some samples of material from
the Catavi Mine in Bolivia which proved to be highly radio active.
2. The vein8 containing this materials are about two inches wide and cut across
the N 30 E tin veins in a porphyry mass at right angles.
3. Besides myself there is only one man who knows about the radio active nature
of these bands. He is a Polish geologist known as ZOUBITSKI (phonetic spell-
ing) who returned to Bolivia from Poland after the nationalization of the
mines.
