"A serious railway accident occurred in the early hours of 26 March 53 at the ra way station df Iman, Some 320 km. from Vladivostok. Two freight trains, loaded with heavy military transport planes, were involved in the collision. About 18-2 flat-cars were destroyed or damaged. The planes were two- and four-engine air- crafts and a few 10-engine heavy transport planes of 1948-50 production. The latt are now being withdrawn from military use and transferred to heavy industry. The transport was proceeding towards China when it collided with the second military transport. 2.
