Tho leading editorial in this issue summed up the results of last
years work in Czechoslovak Amateur Radio. In a typically Comunist
presentation the editorial stated that the transition from individualist
ham work tg aotivities in so called collective radio stations

before7,and added the usual propaganda-.wise percentages or

The editorial complAine4 however about the faults of the administrative
and organizational work, It saids,"One of our greatest faulta wasour
inability to arouse interest in collective amateur work among those
who are either active hams or interested in Amateur Radio. There
still aro among us hams too many, who do not comprehend the political
aims of 0011e9tive ham work, and who do not land aid in the fulfilment
of these aims. The absence of our advanced him and pefessionals in
the collective voTk have caused, for example, the failure of our

aloof of our collective work, excusing themselves by the lack or
