It is difficult to obtain opinions from business men in the Far
Eastern countries concerning the political situation of their particu-
lar countries. They reason that if a nation like France will not go
all out in defense of one of their own dependencies (Indochina),
what chance would they have to e k for outside help in the event the
Chinese Soviets decided totAW over their small countries. Business
men hate the Soviets fo at they stand but, no matter which way
things go, they are ht in between.
