The parking extension was graded' and filled prior to topping. B. A Department of Army proposal on Tropical Differential would require some FBIS internal administrative arrange- ments but the Bureau's recommendation regarding designa- tion of duty station remained unchanged. Havana's Guarani casts were sampled for one month, and then coverage was dropped. Havana broadcasts in Aymara casts, slated for similar sampling, apparently have not yet started. III. Coverage of,.,Sunday communist broadcast from Chile until the elections in September was arranged. New control panels and five new R-390A/URR receivers were installed'in monitoring positions, and four receivers in radio central.' Three master intercoms and two sub-stations were installed. c w II. All monitors were given a short course on the new receivers. The two new monitors received special training prior to taking the Basic Technical Knowledge test. III. Cruising: technicians alerted editors to eight unscheduled speeches and two significant unscheduled news developments; 23 cruising reports were wirefiled by technicians, 8 by monitors. . IV: Power Outages: 3 hours 52 minutes during which the emergency power source was used.
