Recently the Vest Coast 2areau made thoughtful recommenda- tions concerning Peking coding procedures, some of which have already been adopted, and the Okinawa 2ureau has on its own initiative under- taken a study of Peking's beaming practices. The careful efforts of these bureaus are helpful ___sivi.ninirrsz still imperfect job of measuring Peking output. 3. Other reports exam- ined the United States in domestic Soviet propaganda, Peking's support of European defense plans, and the seriannual changes in Soviet broadcast schedules. 4.
