General coverage of Latin American tranemitters was increased in connection with the Inter-Aaterican Economic and Social Council meeting in Banta del Este, Uruguay, 5-17 August. Special arrangements were made for rapid processing and publication of delegates' speeches. Liaison and requirements Staff provided Daily Report background material for the U.S. delegation prior to its departure and arranged to have the Daily Report airmailed to the U.S. Edbassy in Montevideo during the conference period. 3.
