SA-3 MISSILE EQUIPMENT WAS FIRST IDENTIFIED
ON THAT DATE, APPROXIMATELY 118 SA-3 CANISTERS
WERE STOCKPILED AT DONG DANG TRUCK PARK #2
IN NORTH VIETNAM ON
, 19 NM EAST OF THE NEW SA-3
4. NEGATION:
FOUR SQUAD TENTS AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT
(MAINLY CARGO TRUCKS) WERE OBSERVED AT THE
LOCATION OF THE NEW SA-3 SAM SUPPORT FACILITY

5. MISSION READOUT: THE NEWLY IDENTIFIED, FIELD-DEPLOYED SA-3 SAM
SUPPORT FACILITY IS SURROUNDED BY HILLS ON THREE SIDES AND IS ROAD
SERVED BY AN UNNUMBERED ROUTE CONNECTED TO HIGHWAY 1B.
THE FACILITY CONSISTS OF ONE MISSILE-CHECKOUT TENT, (ANNOTATED ON
GRAPHIC), FOUR SQUAD TENTS, A VEHICLE PARKING AREA, AND A PROBABLE
OXIDIZER TANK STORAGE AREA. TWENTY-TWO SA-3 CANISTERS AND THREE
SA-3 CANISTER TRANSPORTERS WERE OBSERVED (ANNOTATED ON GRAPHIC).
OTHER EQUIPMENT PRESENT INCLUDED SEVEN PROBABLE OXIDIZER TANKS, TWO
PROBABLE KRAZ-214 CARGO TRUCKS, TWO. PROBABLE CARGO TRUCKS, TWO
PROBABLE VANS, ONE PROBABLE VAN TRUCK, ONE POSSIBLE UTILITY VEHICLE
AND ONE PROBABLE K-51/61 TRUCK-MOUNTED CRANE.
