JOSE MARTI INTERNATIONAL AIRFIELD (NM) SOUTH OF HAVANA AT 22-59-22N 082-24-27W. IS 3.5 NAUTICAL MILES 25X1 THE AN-22, A LONG-RANGE HEAVY TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT, IS USED FOR AIRLIFTING HEAVY BULK CARGOES AND CIVIL AND MILITARY EQUIPMENT (JANE'S ALL THE WORLD'S AIRCRAFT 1973-74 UNCLASSIFIED). BEAR D WERE FIRST IDENTIFIED IN CUBA ON U-2 PHO TOGRAPHY OF 25X1 25X1 5. DIMENSION/SPECIFICATIONS: THE AN-22 AIRCRAFT HAS A WING SPAN OF 211 FEET 4 INCHES LENGTH OF 189 FEET AND AN OVERALL 7 INCHES. ITS MAXIMUM PAYLOAD IS THE AIRCRAFT'S RAN PAYLOAD IS 2,692 N 175,350 POUNDS. GE WITH MAXIMUM M. (JANE'S ALL THE WORLD'S AIRCRA FT 1973-74 UNCLASSIFIED). 6. MISSION READOUT: ON 14 MARCH 1974, ONE AN-22, (COCK), TWO BEAR D AND ONE CLEAT WERE OBSERVED IN THE MILITARY PORTION OF JOSE MARTI INTERNATIONAL AIRFIELD. OTHER AIRCRAFT (NOT DEPICTED ON GRAPHIC) PRESENT INCLUDED ONE CLASSIC, FOUR BRITANNIA, THREE COKE, ONE CRATE, ONE PROBA.ItE AERO COMMANDER AND ONE SMALL STRAIGHT-WING.
