SIGNIFICANCE: First identification of a KRIVAK guided missile destroyer (DDGSP) in Cuba and an observation of a Soviet Task Force in Havana Port. 2. LOCATION: Havana Port Facilities on the northern coast of Cuba 25X1 at 23-07-SON 082-20-50W. 3. MISSION READOUT: A Soviet naval task force consisting of two KRIVAK DDGSP, one G-II SSB, one PRIMORYE AGI, and one KAZBEK AO were med-moored in Havana harbor. Two KRASNOGRAD merchant ships were berthed nearby in the harbor. This was the first identification of a KRIVAK DDGSP in Cuba.
