1. Special Assistant to the DDI, has been
charged with putting together a book that Admiral Turner will
take with him to all Monday Cabinet meetings. It will describe
the continuing relationships that the DDI has with each of the
Cabinet officers (see attached list). Owould like to add
a paragraph on the continuing relationships the NIOs have with
these Cabinet officers or their departments.
STATINTL 2. will also insert in this book each Friday night
any sign scan contacts with or support provided to these
Cabinet officers and their departments.
3. Would you please have to me by noon on Friday any
contributions you can make to either of the two categories
cited above, and I will see that they get tol

MEMORANDUM FOR_ DDI Component Heads
SUBJECT DCI Attendance at Cabinet Meetings
1. Admiral Turner attends the Cabinet meetings,
which now are held at 0800 each Monday. He takes
with him a notebook which includes bio sketches of all
the Cabinet officers and a page which identifies the
CIA relationships with and support to the various
Agencies. STATINTL
2. We have been asked to keep these data current.
In order to do so, would you please forward to
by OOB each Friday (Thursday in the case of holiday wee -
ends) references to any significant contact or support
(requests from, briefings given, papers delivered, etc.)
your office has provided to any Agency during that week.
We will update the back-up page for delivery to the DCI
