From Southern New England
Follow main ig ways to Route 84 (west). -Follow R6ute'84 '(across Newburgh-
Beacon Bridge) to NYS Thruway (north). Take NYS'Thruway (north) one exit to
Exit 18, New Paltz.*
From Long Islan Sound & Southern Connecticut
Follow Connecticut Turnpike Route 93 west) to Westchester Expressway Route 287.
Continue to NYS Thruway. Go north on Thruway to New Paltz (Exit 18).*
From New Jersey
Follow Route 17 (north) or Garden State Parkway._ -(north)- ? to NYS Thruway. North
(Route 87). Take NYS Thruway to Exit-18,'New Paltz.*
From Boston & Vicinity
Fol ow Massachusetts Turnpike Route-,90 (west) to.NYS Thruway entrance #21-A.
Go south on Thruway to New Paltz (Exit 18).*
From Pennsylvania & Delaware Areas
From the Wilmington, Delaware area use Interchange #1'at the New Jersey Turnpike
and from the Philadelphia area, follow routes to.=Entrance #4 of the New Jersey
Turnpike, near Camden. Continue north on New Jersey Turnpike to Interchange #10
and then take the Garden State Parkway. Drive north on Garden State Parkway to
the NYS Thruway to New Paltz (Exit 18). From areas outside of Philadelphia, take
Pennsylvania Turnpike to New Jersey Turnpike Entrance #6 and continue as directed
above to NYS Thruway Exit 18 at New Paltz.*

Binghamton & Southern Catskills
Take
State Route #17 to Liberty, then follow=State Route 52 to Ellenville
and
turn
left on U.S. Route 209. Continue on Route-209 (north) to.Route 213.
Turn
right
(east) on Route 213 to High Falls. In High Falls, turn right across

Nest Restaurant. Follow Mohonk Road 5 miles to Mohonk Gate.
*After leaving Thruway Exit #18, we are'six.miles:west.of,New Paltz. Turn left.
Follow Main Street through New Paltz. Immediatelyl.after-you cross the bridge
over the Wallkill River, turn right (there is a "MOHONK"-sign). Bear left and
follow Mountain Rest Road to Mohonk Gate.

Mohonk Mountain House will arrange to meet you for the trip to Mountain House
and return:
BUS SERVICE
Available from Port of Authority in NYC to New Paltz bus station. Charge
for the service is $2.50 per person each way.
TRAIN SERVICE
Available to Poughk.eeps'ie station. Charge is $15.00 per car each way.
AIRPORTS
Poughkeepsie Airport - $35.00 per car each way. Mountain House requires
airline, flight number, time of arrival.
HUDSON VALLEY AIRPORTER LIMOUSINE SERVICE
Airport limousine service from any NYC airport. Arrangements must be made
directly by the guest (New York State toll number 800-942-4255; for others,
914-246-6612). With advance word of your arrival time* in New Paltz, Mohonk
House will arrange for their car to meet you. The charge is $3.00 per
person each way. Please see attached schedule for departure times from
NY airports. Reservations on the Hudson Valley Airporter Limousine Service
must be reconfirmed upon arrival at NY airports by calling 757-5325.

arrival time in New Paltz for pickup to Mountain House, please ask for
Guest Services Desk.
