C. 20505 Dear Mr. Knoche: As an aid to our investigation, we would appreciate receiving from the Agency a memorandum setting forth a description of the Agency's policies concerning the use of polygraph examinations on CIA employees, contract personnel, or other individuals engaged in activities for or on, behalf of the Agency. Copies of any regulations, rules, or other documents of any type setting forth the Agency's policies should be included, together with a. description of the nature of any changes in these policies within the past five years. Finally, the memorandum should include a brief statement concerning the Agency's views relating to the effectiveness and reliability of polygraph examinations.
