Release 2000/05/31 : CIA-RDP83B00823R000200120007-3 Articles of Incorporation of Association of Former Employees of the Central Intelligence Agency We hereby associate to form a non-stock corporation under the provisions of Chapter 2 of Title 13.1 of the Code of Virginia and to that end set forth the following: (a) The name of the corporation is "Association of Former Employees of the Central Intelligence Agency"; (b) The purposes for which the corporation is organized is to form a non-profit association for the mutual benefit of present and future former employees of the Central Intelligence Agency who become members of the Association. Former career staff employees may apply to the Membership Committee to become members. Applicants may be accepted as members by unanimous approval of the Membership Committee or by an approval by a majority of the Board of Directors. Members have a right to vote on all officers and members of the Board of Directors of the national organization. Ten members may petition the Board of Directors for permission to form a local chapter of the organization and, if granted, form a local chapter, elect officers, and establish rules for the local chapter that are not inconsistent with the Bylaws of the national organization; (c) Any member may attend and participate in any program of the local chapter or national Association, attend meetings of the local chapter and the annual meeting of the national Association; (d) The initial directors of the Association, who shall be temporary, will be elected by the organizing committee members who must be eligible to become members of the Association. When the membership reaches 300 they shall call for an election of Officers and Directors by the entire membership; (e) The post office address of the initial registered office is , Virginia.
