SUMMARY REPORT - August 1975
HIGHLIGHTS
1. A member of the Information Systems Security
Group surveyed contractor computer installations in the
Sunnyvale, California; Albuquerque, New Mexico areas.

The security posture
of each computer facility was evaluated, and recommenda-
tions regarding the adequacy of security measures were
written.
2. A representative of the Information Systems
Security Group gave a general computer security threat
briefing to members of and the U.S. STATINTL
Air Force Electronic Systems Division (ESD). The STATINTL
is working on a project for ESD which is
concerned with threats to military application computer
systems.
3. A survey was conducted by the Information
Systems Security Group to ensure that proper procedures
were being followed in the control of TOP SECRET
material transferred between the four Directorate
coordinators and the Review Staff. A primary concern
was the control of TOP SECRET material forwarded to the
investigative committees.
4. Members of Information Systems Security Group
and = met for two days of discussion to orientate STATINTL
with the OJCS Computer System and the CIA security
requirements of these systems. will present a STATINTL
proposal on the adaptation of the Security Access Control
System (SACS) as a means of access control in the OJCS
Computer Center.
