MONTHLY HIGHLIGHTS REPORT
SPECIAL SECURITY CENTER
September 1978
1. (U/AIOU) The Compartmented Information Branch (CIB)
during September deleted 2,080 names from the SPECLE Computer
and added 9,064 names bringing the total number of names in
SPECLE II to 138,351 on record at the end of September 1978.
There were 3,256 cable actions conducted by CIB personnel.
Forty-seven hardcopy computer reports and nine microfiche
were supplied to various Intelligence Community customers
during September.
2. (S) Two hundred and twenty-three briefings were
given to one hundred and twelve CIA employees. In addition,
one hundred and nine briefings were presented to twenty-four
non-CIA personnel as follows:
