This should imp-prove the effectiveness of operations. c. Security support for overseas wartime and contingency planning and emergency relocation has been transferred to the Overseas Security Support Division, PTOS from the Executive and Planning Division, Executive Staff to consolidate compatible operations. d. The IOS organizational structure is being studied and recon-;n endations are in the process of being submitted for the realignment of certain components and functions order to provide greater efficiency. 3. A detailed review of the activities of each Division of the Physical, Technical and Overseas Security Directorate (PTOS) will be made in approximately six n onths since a "shakedown;: will be required to ensure no duplication of efforts in the administration of PTOS programs under recent organizatioral changes as set forth in paragraph 4 of our memorandum= dated 14 January 1969. 4.
