Monitoring Private Conversations
with the Consent of a Party
1. This is the first time in at least five years that
the Office of Security has had the opportunity to see the
actual Attorney General requirements,subject as above, and,
therefore, we feel that past reporting has not fulfilled
the requirement.
A. Requirement (1) an inventory of all the
agency's electronic and mechanical equipment designed
for the monitoring of conversations. Attached are
three lists of equipment in the possession of the
Technical Security Division, Office of Security:

All of the above equipment is used exclusively in
support of the Audio Countermeasures (Defense) Program
of the Technical Security Division. The equipment is
