SUBJECT : Spring 1982 Washington Area Operations
Centers' Conference (WAOCC)
1. As you may recall, I have scheduled our spring meeting for the 17th
and 18th of Ma this year. We will be holding the conference at the facility
II will arrange for transportation for everyone, unless you wish
to drive yourself.
2. Agenda items that I have lined up so far include:
a. Briefing by DIA/JSW on their Worldwide Indicator Monitoring System
(WWIMS).
b. A briefing by CIA on reorganization of the Office of Current
Operations (OCO) - now called Office of Current Production and
Analytical Support (OCPAS).
c. A review of a Washfax policy directive. promised 25X1
to have a draft ready for the meeting ; and
d. A briefing on the reorganization of the National Intelligence
Warning system by
3. This will not take up the whole two days. We have the facility
reserved so if you have any additional items to present or discuss at the
conference, let me know. My initial thoughts are to drive out on the morning
of the 17th, have lunch, conduct afternoon and evening sessions, and then stay
overnight with another session on Tuesday morning. If we do not have
sufficient agenda items, we may want to try to accomplish everything in one
day.
