1. The IIWG/NP will meet to discuss warning-related matters
at 1330-1530 on Wednesday, 22 October 1980, in Room 6F21, CIA
Headquarters. The following topics are proposed for discussion:
--Iraq. Effects on the Iraqi nuclear program
of the fighting between Iraq and Iran.
--Pakistan. Progress on its enrichment and re-
processing facilities, and implications of the
local fabrication of fuel for the Karachi

SUBJECT: Meeting on Warnings
--India-USSR. Indian Atomic Energy Chairman
Sethna's visit to the Soviet Union and any
new collaborative arrangements within the
framework of the 1979 Indo-Soviet Nuclear
Cooperation Agreement.
--Japan-PRC. Implications of reported Japanese
purchase of heavy water from China, and other
possible deals involving reactors and uranium.
--NPT Review Conference. Whether or not the
outcome portends a crisis in the international
nonproliferation regime.
--South Korea. Status of the NRX (heavy water
moderated research reactor) program.
Members are invited to raise other topics at the meeting for discussion.
