Action Requested: That you approve and forward the attached letter of appreciation to the DCI for signature. 2. Background: a. Reference tasked DDO and NFAC to prepare "personalized responses for the Director to forward to field activities which produced noteworthy reports." Presumably, this guideline applies equally to those intelligence activities which fall under the staff purview of the DCI's other principal deputies. d.
