1. Chai meets Vice President Bush on 10 December and Judge Clark
on 16 December. Since he is likely to complain about USG policy to them
as he did to you on 2 December, it would be valuable to give Clark a
heads up. I will make the same points to Don Gregg to cover the Vice
President.
2. Following are Chai's complaints made either to you or to other
senior officials during farewell calls over the last few weeks.
-- Trade and Economic Issues: Textile negotiations; railroad
bond case.
