THE WHITE HOUSE
SUBJECT: Report to the President on Law of the Sea
In response to your memorandum of May 11, we attach the SIG
Report to the President on Law of the Sea. This paper, including
pros and cons on issues for decision, was discussed and cleared in
the SIG meeting June 15.
On June 22 the SIG on Law of the Sea will reconvene to iden-
tify agency positions and prepare its recommendations to the
President on the issues for decision.
