On behalf of the Director, I want to thank you for your
co-sponsorship of the recently completed Colloquium on Future
Space Missions. Many of the comments which I have received
indicate that the Colloquium was successful, and any success was
in large part because of the support from you and the other
sponsors.
I regret that your schedule prevented you from attending
the Colloquium,. but I am well aware of the support which your
organization gave to the Colloquium. I particularly want to
thank Conrad Forsythe for his active cooperation during the
formative days of the Colloquium.
You will receive a copy of the summary report on the Colloquium
when it is completed. I trust that you will find it useful.
The Colloquium is an excellent example of the cooperation among
various components of t:ie United States Government. I look forward
to further examples of such cooperation in the future.
