Body:
14 AUG 1980
. We received your status request letter of 23 July
1980 on 29 July. You reminded us that we have yet to
respond to your inquiry of 30 April 1980 regarding the
status of vour Freed- Information request on
We must apologize for not
responding sooner to your correspondence, but we felt at
the time that more documents would shortly be available
for release.
The documents we had located and reviewed had to be
coordinated with another component which was already working
on documents associated with your request. The documents
sent to then for coordination were incorporated into their
dncnmAntrevtwv process. All documents pertaining to
will, consequently, be reviewed as a unit.
The component in question is the most heavily back-
logged of all; As we have pointed out earlier, there is
no way to predict when work on your request will be completed.
While we recognize this is little solace to one who has been
waiting over three years, there is nothing we can suggest
except that you may exercise your right of appeal under the
Act.
