MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy Director for Intelligence
FROM: Director of Central Intelligence
SUBJECT: Genetic Engineering
~c^.tiS-ra RegIatry
What have we done and what do we have in process in the way of
evaluating the military and economic application and implication of
genetic engineering? I have in mind getting the 25X1
head of the Chemical Engineering Department of 25X1
to come here and give us a two hour briefing on eve ments in this
area which I understand he does very broadly, simply and effectively.
