SUBJECT : Urban Awareness Seminar
1. The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity is sponsoring two
MILSIPPS -- one on 14 and 15 June and the other on 16 and 17 June at
I Dr. Charles H. King, Jr. will be conducting these seminars. The
purpose is to acquaint each participant with minority issues, especially
sensitivity to the black-white issue. The seminar encompasses the
complexities of racial, cultural, ethnic, economic and social differences.
2. This seminar was previously sponsored by the DDI, and I believe
is valuable for all Agency managers.
3. I would appreciate your contacting John Dohring, Director of
EEO, by 9 June to let him know which of the two workshops you will be
able to attend.
