Livermore's participation in the first FASAC Panel
on Soviet high-pressure physics research is greatly ap-
preciated. This panel, which included Dr. Marvin Ross as
Chairman and Dr. Forrest Rogers as one of the five members,
has produced an assessment judged by expert reviewers to be
of highest technical quality and remarkable thoroughness.
Both the technical expertise of these LLNL scientists and
