MEMORANDUM FOR DR. WILLIAM 0. MEHURON, DEPUTY DIRECTOR FOR
RESEARCH AND ENGINEERING
SUBJECT: Letter of Appreciation
I know you will share my pleasure and pride in receiving the
attached letter from Mr. Peter R. Hunt, Chief, Communications Security
Establishment, Department of National Defence, Canada, in which he
recounts in considerable detail, the singularly exceptional support
that Mr. Nathaniel C. Gerson has provided in so many different areas
over his long years of association with that Department.
Clearly, Mr. Gerson has provided a level of scientific and
technical assistance far exceeding that which would normally be
expected and, in doing so, has earned him and the Agency great
credit and many friends. Please convey my warmest personal thanks
to Mr. Gerson for his many achievements in this regard and my
compliments for this official recognition of his truly outstanding
support to our Canadian neighbors.
