Dear Mr. Schoning:
We are pleased to confirm your visit to CIA Headquarters, where the
Director of Central Intelligence, William J. Casey, will meet with you
and the Coro Foundation of Southern California. His biography is
enclosed, along with a map and directions to the Central Intelligence
Agency for your visit on Wednesday, 28 April, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. I
hope you will plan to arrive at about 1:45 p.m. to allow time for
in-processing.
The Director has agreed to address you and to respond to your ques-
tions. He will be followed by a Soviet expert addressing the subject of
the Soviet threat, and a representative from personnel who will discuss
career opportunities available at the Agency.
I am expecting to receive the list of attendees in the mail shortly.
As I have already mentioned to you, all attendees must be U.S. citizens;
the Agency does not admit foreign nationals.
Please let me know if any handicapped persons will attend so that
I can make special arrangements to assist them. Some form of identifica-
tion must be shown to the receptionist upon entering the building. I
.will notify Security that you will be arriving in approximately four cars.
The Agency allows neither hazardous equipment--such as weapons or
explosives--nor cameras, recording devices, or radio transmitters to be
brought into the building.
