Advisory panel
1. Ivan came by the other day to "stay. in touch" and noted that
the members of the MEAP individually offer a great deal of talent. He
was urging that should the Agency have any topic or issue that doesn't
fit the specific charter of MEAP, it is quite conceivable that the
proper expertise to address that problem rests with one or more individual
members.
2. He noted that the Panel was bringing on board a gentleman by
the name of an expert in the banking field from Chase Manhattan.
Ivan felt that presence would give the Panel additional expertise,
but more importantly offer the Agency an outside individual to turn to
in the field of growing interest to the Agency but for which the Agency
has little expertise.
3. I assured Ivan that I would pass on his generous offer to you
both.
