Thanks for your note of March 16. I
remember our work together.
I hope the CIA is not making the announce-
ment indicated in your letter. There was 'a
passing reference which I recall reading in the
press quite a good many weeks back. I don?t
know how it slipped out and I consider it both
unfortunate and misleading. I would appreciate
your conveying to those interested that whatever
occurred was a mistake and that it is part of
our policy that we do try hard to avoid such
mistakes.
