Thank you very much for your kind letter of 26 May 1982, inviting me to
speak at the Annual Convention of the Pennsylvania State Sheriffs' Association
in Butler, Pennsylvania, on 15 July 1982.
As a member of my legislative staff has already informed your office, my
schedule is extremely tight in the forthcoming months, and hence, I will not
be able to accept this speaking engagement.
Please convey my regrets to the State Sheriffs' Association, and I wish
them much success at their annual convention.
