Public Affairs Division Mar CLU attorney for former Agency employees 0 25X1 an has requested through FOIA (1) the number of 25X1 manuscripts submitted to CIA for review from 1979 to present; (2) the length of each manuscript; (3) the date on which each manuscript was submitted by the author; and (4) the date on which the Board acted on each manuscript. Mr. Lynch is repre- senting an individual (presumably non-Agency) who is involved in a dispute with another Government agency over the amount of time required to conduct prepublication review and he wishes to demonstrate that the "CIA has compiled an exemplary record of generally completing its reviews within thirty days." Mr. Lynch coordinated his request with OGC, P Al nate 25X1 Legal Advisor, before submit i.ng it to the Agency. u 25X1 3. Coordinator for Academic Affairs CAA has contacted 14 aides to college and university presidents who are to be invited for the next presidents' visit on 13 October 1982.
