1. Third World Intelligence Seminar-Plans for the Third World Intelligence
Seminar to be held at the State Department in two sessions (21-22 October and 18-19
November 1982) are progressing well. The agenda for the first session is complete.
Invitations to panel members are now being issued, as are solicitations for additional
speakers for session two. F__1
2. The 1982 N1Ts-Current and Continuing NITs have been formulated from
policymaker inputs, and agreed to by the IG(I). Final approval from the SIG(I) is
anticipated on 26 August.
3. Foreign Disclosure Study-Statements of policy and procedures governin
intelligence disclosures are being drafted by the Foreign Disclosure Study Group.
4. FY 1984 NFIP-The FY 1984 NFIP forecast has been reviewed, and comments
were provided for the 10 August NFIC meeting. This was in preparation for the
capabilities and shortfalls statements to be developed from the budget submissions in
September. F__1
6. Consumer Survey-The report is now being printed. u
7. Compendium of Community Coordinating Mechanisms-The report is now being
printed
8. Staffing-Paper work is in process for the DIA detailee. INR cannot provide
someone time now, but we are discussing the feasibility and utility of a part-time
