McDonald Acting Deputy Director for Administration SUBJECT: Weekly Report for Period Ending 20 August 1982 1. Progress reports on tasks assigned by DCI/DDCI: none. 2. Items/events of major interest: d. In response to requests, communications support was provided to Secretary of Defense Weinberger during his 11-13 August visit 25X1 to Admiral Harry D. Train II, USN, Commander in Chief Atlantic 25X1 r L, and to Assistant Secretary o e 25X1 Treasur for International Affairs Mr. Marc E. Leland, during his 25X1 I e. A briefcase/package inspection was conducted at the South, East, and Central Buildings on 18 August. One incident of possible unauthorized removal of ified material requiring further investigation resulted from this activity. 25X1 f. On 16 August 1982, 11 members of the proposed A&E project team for the new Headquarters building from the firm of Smith, Hinchman, and Grylls Associates, Inc., visited Headquarters. On 12 August 1982, representatives of the Information Systems Security Group met with Dr. Ted Lee, Manager of Security for UNIVAC, to discuss security features and capabilities of the UNIVAC system proposed for the NPIC Development Program in 1986-87. 3.
